Meet Kaitlyn

Hello, and welcome to my portfolio. My name is Kaitlyn Winston, and I am currently a student at Texas A&M University in Corpus Christi. In December 2023, I graduated with my bachelor's degree in English (concentration in writing studies) and a minor in Business Administration. As of January 2024, I have begun to continue my education at Texas A&M University in Corpus Christi in order to get my master's degree in English.

I currently live in my hometown of Rockport, Texas. I graduated in the top ten percent of my graduating class from Rockport-Fulton High School in 2019. Besides writing and my academic work, I also enjoy playing video games, listening to metal music, and watching movies.

With my writing, I enjoy writing in multiple genres and forms. I highly enjoy creative nonfiction, but I have experience in writing fantasy, horror, science fiction, and poetry as well. Within this portfolio, I hope to showcase many of these forms of writing to showcase my talent in the various forms I enjoy writing in.
